Ed Dodig
Managing Director and Head, European Region, CIBC World Markets plc.
Ed Dodig is Managing Director and Head of CIBC’s European Region based in London. His responsibilities include acting as chief executive of the London Branch and for all CIBC World Markets plc., operations in Europe.
Prior to his appointment in 2011, Mr. Dodig was Managing Director and Head of CIBC’s Retail Solutions Group, responsible for development and implementation of strategic, business and financial plans. In this position, Mr. Dodig led a number of successful initiatives focused on CIBC’s retail investor client base including launching the Equity Linked GIC program and refocusing the retail structured products business for CIBC.
Mr. Dodig has also held the positions of Head of Retail and e-Commerce Foreign Exchange; Executive Director, Foreign Exchange Sales; and Imperial Service Advisor, all with CIBC.
Mr. Dodig is a member of CIBC’s Wholesale Banking Management Committee and Chairman of the European Management Committee. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
