The Global Fixed Income Sales group provides institutional investors with timely market information and actionable trade ideas to support their fixed income trading and hedging objectives. We have sales professionals in offices in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, New York, London, Tokyo and Singapore with strong relationships to institutional investors around the world.

Our sales approach blends value-added research, product and market information to suit our clients' portfolio needs. Our Economics Research group is highly ranked in Canada by independent surveys and we work closely with other asset class groups within Fixed Income, Currencies & Distribution to provide our clients with comprehensive product solutions.

We distribute all levels of Canadian government (federal, provincial, municipal) and corporate (investment grade and high yield) debt as well as a wide list of products in other markets and currencies, including MTNs, structured notes, globals, Foreign names, Euros, Yankees, interest rate and credit derivative products.

Retail

Our Fixed Income Trading group offers Canadian, U.S. and European clients a variety of fixed income trading products.

Responsible for the distribution of all fixed income and money markets products both primary and secondary, CIBC’s Retail Fixed Income desk has the largest dedicated team of professionals servicing the retail distribution channels within CIBC, including CIBC Wood Gundy, CIBC Investor’s Edge, CIBC Imperial Service and CIBC Private Banking. For our small institutional investors as well as other financial institutions, we provide liquidity.
